Week 31
Grappling with texts like Isaiah 52-53 and the suffering servant songs really puts me in my place. Nothing is quite as potent as the words of the prophets to people so long ago who seem incredibly familiar to us.
Here’s this week’s PowerPoint covering some of Isaiah and Nahum.

Week 29: Trust
This week’s powerpoint overview of trust in the Psalms along with a topical Bible entry about trust.
Make sure nobody’s around, and then admit that this is funny…

Keith Oliver taught this week, and gave a great overview of the work and words of the prophets. Here’s his Prophetic PowerPoint. :)
A powerpoint study of Hosea, Amos, and Isaiah. Night, day, and night again.
Week 25: Timelines
I used to hate timeline people.
I have become what I despise.
I can’t get my head around the divided kingdom’s kings and prophets without a little bit of visual help. We worked through some stories about Elijah and Elisha this past week and looked at a compilation of old testament timelines of the divided kingdom and timelines of old testament prophecy.
For my convenience, (not yours!), I’ve wrapped all the timelines and the presentation into a zip file. Enjoy!
Yes. Cute. I know.
