So, this weekend is the weekend of the fall Gospel Meeting at Roby! E. Claude Gardner is preaching it Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. and Sunday at 10 and 5. If you’re around Henderson…be there!
And there’s only one more regular season soccer game! Wow! Time flies!
Anybody remember that Alabama song…with the line “I rush and rush until life’s no fun?” “All I’ve really gotta do is live and die, but I’m in a hurry and don’t know why!”?
Ok, just curious. It is amazing how quickly life gets hectic, how busy you can be, and how little can get done. And then you step back a moment and realize that none of the stuff you were working on really matters. Ahh, the joys.
So here’s the devotional thought of the day: Psalm 118:24. How am I going to use this day for the Lord?
And for a webupdate-I’ve installed a mailing list that I liked, and most of it is working correctly. I’ve deciphered most of the spotty English (the guy who wrote it was German) and am about ready to roll out that part of the update. Magnetic Poetry is nearly working, sort of. It works…but it doesn’t save your work like it claims to. Haven’t figured that one out yet!
